Our Doctors treat all breeds of dogs and cats. Your pet’ health and wellbeing are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your fur-babies the care they deserve.

Loving Touch Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital, with our Doctors having years of experience treating pets in need of routine medical, surgical, dental and more serious condition care. From time to time, we do offer same day emergency visits (with our schedule permitting and to established clients only). Please call the hospital if you feel your pet needs medical care.

  • Dr.
    Stephanie Smalls
    Medical Director

    Dr. Smalls is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. She received her bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University. She graduated from Tuskegee University School Veterinary Medicine in 2007.  Afterwards, she completed a rotating internship program at VCA Newark Animal Hospital in Newark, Delaware.

  • Dr. Jeboda
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Jeboda is from Bear, Delaware, and received her degree in Pre-veterinary medicine from the University of Delaware. She went on to veterinary school and is a recent graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of veterinary medicine. She has a strong passion for preventative medicine and has a special interest in internal medicine. During her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and playing the piano.

  • Chris Deliman
    Hospital Manager

    Chris has been a vet tech of Dr. Smalls’ since 2008. After Loving Touch Animal Clinic opened in 2014, he became the Hospital Manager overseeing the facilities daily operations. After hours he enjoys spending time on his farmette with wife and all their animals which include dogs, cats, goats, chickens, turkeys and ducks.

    Veterinary Technician

    Ashley has her BS in Animal Biotechnology and Conservation. She worked in research for 10+ years and has been working as a Vet Tech for 15+ years.  In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends including her 3 dogs Sneakers, Charlie and Munchie and her cat Dash. If she isn't with them, you will find her at the barn enjoying horseback riding.

    Lead Reception Specialist

    Melanie has been in the veterinary field since 2006 and joined the LTAC family in 2022. She started as a receptionist, then ventured into the veterinary technician world. She is currently our Lead ReceptionSpecialist. In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Melanie has a golden retriever, a cat, and an amazon double-yellow head.

    Receptionist

    Chelsea can be found at the front desk ready to greet your fur babies. Chelsea is not only new to the LTAC family- she’s new to the veterinary field altogether! When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, the answer was always a vet, as she has always been passionate about animals. Life led her to the restaurant industry, with 14 years of customer service under her belt! In her spare time, she can be found with loved ones, at the beach, or out in nature when the weather’s just right.

  • Erin
    Veterinary Technician

    Erin joined LTAC in 2022 after taking several years off to raise her children. She has been a vet tech since 2006 where she originally started out in shelter medicine before transitioning into general practice. When she's not at the LTAC office caring for your furry friends, you can find her camping and spending time with her husband, 3 kids and their furry crew. She also enjoys sewing and crafting and learning new pet grooming skills to better assist our clients and their pets.

    Veterinary Technician

    Macy is a University of Delaware '24 Alum with her BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and joined the LTAC family back in the fall of 2022. Macy has an adorable Yorkie named Jerry, and she loves spending time with friends and family.

    Veterinary Technician

    Isabella is a fairly new addition to the LTAC family and a recent graduate from the University of Delaware where she obtained her BS in Neuroscience. In the fall she’ll be headed off to vet school at Tufts University to obtain her DVM. She has a love for all the fur babies that come into the office but has a special interest in exotics and neurology. In her free time she enjoys reading, nature walks, and going to the beach!

    Megan joined the LTAC team in 2021 and recently graduated from the University of Delaware in 23' with her BS in Pre-Vet. She is currently enrolled at Long Island University pursuing her DVM. In her free time Megan enjoys relaxing by the pool, hanging out with her French Bulldog Duke and vacationing.

    Veterinary Technician

    Xavier is a UD class of '24 alumni who joined the LTAC family in the summer of 2023, and he's always among the first to volunteer for any appointment involving a feline friend! For most of the year, he's away in St. Kitts pursuing his DVM from Ross University. Xavier has a special interest in reptile husbandry and hopes to become a wildlife veterinarian one day to help conserve endangered species across the globe.

    Veterinary Technician

    Harold started his vet career in 2002 as a kennel caregiver and vet tech assistant. He has always had passion for animals and helping others out. He grew up in Maryland and moved to Delaware in 2011. He joined LTAC in 2020 for about a year and then returned in 2024. He enjoys the outdoors whether it be gardening, going on hikes or to the beaches. He doesn't have any animals at this time but loves seeing all the pets that come into the clinic where he gets to give them all the love and care they deserve.

    My love for animals began when I started my career as a dog and cat groomer in 2006. Family is the most important thing to me, including my 3 great danes - Willow, River and Sky. In my time off you can find me behind my sewing machine or in the flower garden.
